What do you get when you combine two superstars in their field, combining their resources for a good ol' time in the sunsets of their careers? A majestic golf course to showcase the beauty of South Jersey. Mike Trout and Tiger Woods announced in March 2023 they were partnering to build a new private golf course, Trout National-The Reserve, in Vineland. The dream is one step closer. Construction has begun. Trout, a Millville native is still a major presence in his hometown. From his days on the scholastic back fields to the Pros, Trout is making a huge statement here. His evolving friendship with Woods is no doubt adds to the star power he wants to bring home for years to come! Woods is pivoting his elite playing career to one of course construction with his course design firm, TGR Design. The site, an old silca sand mine and surrounding farmland will feature water play on five of the holes. Plans are for the private club to encompass 7,455 yards as a traditional par 72, with four par 3's and four par 5's. Initial estimates pegged opening day for some time in 2025.
